Focus and Scope

SIMEC Bulletin is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the SIMEC Research Center and SIMEC Institute of Technology. Its central objective is to provide a platform for scholars to share their research and foster dialogue, generating new perspectives on research and innovation for development.

The journal publishes a wide range of contributions, including research articles, review articles, commentaries, book reviews and policy papers. It receives contributions from various disciplines such as arts and humanities, social sciences, science and technology, engineering, business and commerce.

Publication Frequency

SIMEC Bulletin is published four issues released each year. Each issue provides timely and relevant research across a wide range of disciplines, aiming to contribute to the ongoing dialogue in various fields of study.

Open Access Policy

SIMEC Bulletin is an open-access journal, meaning all articles are freely available to the public without subscription or access fees. We are committed to ensuring that research is accessible to everyone, helping to foster global knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Publication Fees

Articles accepted for publication in SIMEC Bulletin will be charged a publication fee of USD 100. This fee supports the editorial and production process, including typesetting, formatting, and online hosting. DOI assignment is included in the publication process.

Copyright and Licensing

All rights to the published content in SIMEC Bulletin are held by the SIMEC Research Center and SIMEC Institute of Technology. Authors retain copyright of their work but grant the journal a license to publish and distribute their articles. Authors are free to share and reuse their work under the terms of the CC BY-NC-SA license, with proper attribution to the journal.

The content published in SIMEC Bulletin is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA) license. This allows others to remix, adapt, and build upon the work non-commercially, as long as they provide appropriate attribution and share any derivative works under the same license.

Archiving Policy

SIMEC Bulletin is committed to the long-term preservation of all published content. To ensure permanent access, the journal uses the Internet Archive to store and preserve all articles published online.
