Focus and Scope

SIMEC Bulletin is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access quarterly journal published by the SIMEC Research Center and SIMEC Institute of Technology. Its central objective is to provide a platform for scholars to share their research and foster dialogue, generating new perspectives on research and innovation for development.

The journal publishes a wide range of contributions, including research articles, review articles, commentaries, book reviews and policy papers. It receives contributions from various disciplines such as arts and humanities, social sciences, science and technology, engineering, business and commerce.

Publication Frequency

SIMEC Bulletin is published quarterly, with four issues released each year. Each issue provides timely and relevant research across a wide range of disciplines, aiming to contribute to the ongoing dialogue in various fields of study.

Open Access Policy

SIMEC Bulletin is an open-access journal, meaning all articles are freely available to the public without subscription or access fees. We are committed to ensuring that research is accessible to everyone, helping to foster global knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Publication Fees

There are no submission fees for publishing in SIMEC Bulletin. However, if authors wish to obtain a DOI for their article, a fee of USD 50 for international author and BDT 5000 for Bangladeshi authors applies. This fee supports the process of assigning a DOI through CrossRef.

Copyright and Licensing

All rights to the published content in SIMEC Bulletin are held by the SIMEC Research Center and SIMEC Institute of Technology. Authors retain copyright of their work but grant the journal a license to publish and distribute their articles. Authors are free to share and reuse their work under the terms of the CC BY-NC-SA license, with proper attribution to the journal.

The content published in SIMEC Bulletin is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA) license.
