SIMEC Research Center’s SDGs Action Research Center: One Step Ahead
On the evening of March 23, 2021, at 6:00 PM, under the glow of the setting sun, the Founder Chairman of SIMEC Research Center, Engineer Sardar Md. Shaheen, and Vice-Chairman Ms. Afsana Khanom hosted an important meeting followed by a dinner party. The gathering marked a significant step forward for the SDGs Action Research Center.
The evening was graced by distinguished guests including Mr. Ahsanul Hoq Choudhury, DAE–UNICEF Focal Point; Mr. Mhd. Ali Nause Russel, Director, Governance Innovation Unit, Prime Minister’s Office; and Dr. Mafizur Rahman, Managing Director, SME Foundation, who attended as the chief guest. Their engaging discussions focused on the future development of the institution and strategies to take SIMEC Research Center one step ahead in SDGs Action Research. They also provided valuable insights regarding the successful implementation of upcoming agendas.
Prominent attendees included Prof. Dr. Amzad Hossain, Executive Director, SDGs Action Research Center; Prof. Dr. Monirul Islam, Research Advisor, SIMEC Research Center; Ms. Foara Yeasmin, Director, SIMEC Group; Engr. Md. Abu Musa, Principal, SIMEC Research Center & Deputy Director, SIMEC Group; Md. Abul Hossain, Deputy Director, SIMEC Group; Muhammad Sharifur Rahman, National Coordinator, SDGs Action Research Center; and Dr. Sanjib Roy, Chief Editor, SDGs Newsletter, SIMEC Research Center. Their presence and contributions made the “Chairman’s Dinner Evening” both enjoyable and meaningful.
The program was successfully organized under the guidance of the Chairman of SIMEC Group, with commendable efforts from Mr. Jamal Ahmed, Administrative Manager, and Mr. Md. Morshadul Alam, Executive, SIMEC Research Center.
