Australia Awards Fellowship on Improving Research and Policy in the Blue Economy Bangladesh

The SIMEC Research Center, has launched an important initiative for Bangladesh’s development: Blue Economy Think Tank (BETT). This strategic move is aimed at fostering the growth of the blue economy in Bangladesh. The official launch of BETT took place at the event where certificates were awarded to the Fellows of the Australia Awards Fellowship on Improving Research and Policy in the Blue Economy Bangladesh on July 21, 2025, at the SIMEC Institute of Technology premises in Uttara, Dhaka. Mr. Kanchan Khisa, Country Program Manager of Australia Awards Bangladesh, and Engr. Sardar Md. Shaheen, Chairman of SIMEC Group, were present to hand over the certificates and crests to the Australia Awards fellows.
