A Round-Table Discussion on “53 Years of Independence: Exploring the Future of Smart Bangladesh” on March 23, 2024

The SIMEC Research Center and SIMEC System ltd jointly hosted a round-table discussion on 53 Years of Independence: Exploring the Future of Smart Bangladesh on March 23, 2024 at the Institute premises. Dr. Farhad Zahid Shaikh, Chief e-Governance, a2i, ICT Division, Bangladesh, was the Chief Guest and Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Professor, Department of IICT, BUET and Dr. Kazi Abu Taher, Professor, BUP Research Cell, Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) were the special guests. Dr. Md. Monirul Islam, Research Advisor of SIMEC Research Center chaired the event, with Engr. Md. Abu Musa, Director, SIMEC System Ltd. delivering the welcome speech. The event was moderated by Sariful Islam, Coordinator, SIMEC Research Center. Dr. S M Shameem Reza, Research Advisor, SIMEC Research Center and Professor at the University of Dhaka, and Dr. A K M Foysal Ahmed, Research Advisor, SIMEC Research Center, were also present amongst others.
